Toshiba Electron Tubes & Devices Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Otawara, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan; President: Hironori Nakamuta) has decided on a new company name, "Canon Electron Tubes & Devices Co., Ltd.".

The new company name will be officially introduced around the beginning of 2019 after regulatory procedures with the pharmaceutical and medical equipment authorities of each country regarding the name change are completed.
