Canon Electron Tubes & Devices Co., Ltd.(Headquarters: Otawara, Tochigi Prefecture, Japan; President: Hironori Nakamuta) today announced the official company name (trade name) change of Canon Group Company, Toshiba Electron Tubes & Devices Co., Ltd. to Canon Electron Tubes & Devices Co., Ltd.

Since joining the Canon Group in December 2016, Canon Electron Tubes & Devices Co., Ltd. has cooperated with customers(equipment manufactures etc.) for their regulatory preparation as well as internal procedures. By confirming such procedures have been completed, the change of the company name into effect today.

From its establishment in 1915, Canon Electron Tubes & Devices Co., Ltd. has cooperated with worldwide customers(equipment manufactures and scientific laboratories, etc.) for supplying business such as x-ray tubes, x-ray detectors, microwave tubes, etc. Please be assured that our business will continue to operate seamlessly as of today and we continue contributing to world's health and society by providing core components for medical/dental, industrial/analytical, energy and science technology application.
