Canon Electron Tubes & Devices Co., Ltd., in an effort to help prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), has gradually implemented a temporary suspension of operations at our Tokyo office since April 7.
Based on the Japanese government's extension of the ongoing nationwide state of emergency until May 31, we announce that Tokyo office resumes work from Monday, May 11 with operators for undertaking measures required to maintain business functions, and continue to ensure the health of employees and their families, customers, and business partners, as well as we will endeavor to prevent the spread of COVID-19 infections. The headquarters of Canon Electron Tubes and Devices (Otawara City, Tochigi Prefecture) is operating as usual and there are no problems in production.
