We would like to express our sincere appreciation for your continued support and patronage.

As announced by Canon Inc. ("Canon"), Canon's Board of Directors has approved an absorption-type merger in which Canon will be the surviving company and Canon Electron Tubes & Devices Co., Ltd. ("CETD") will be the merged company. Accordingly, Canon and CETD have entered into a merger agreement on this date.

As a result of this merger, all of our rights and obligations will be succeeded by Canon, the surviving company, and we will be dissolved as of January 1, 2027, the effective date.

Please be advised that all contractual positions, rights, and obligations relating to the products and services provided by CETD will be transferred to and assumed by Canon in accordance with applicable laws and regulations. Therefore, there will be no impact on the continuity of products, services, or customer support currently provided by CETD.
